Welcome to the Woodrose Colony!

Where there's a will, there's a way, kind of beautiful
And every night has its day, so magical
And if there's love in this life,
there's no obstacle that can't be defeated

Settled in the downtown district of Fairpoint, a small town outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the large stone building called the Rosewood Apartments. Built of stone and brick it lasted through the cordyceps breakout and the days that followed. Abandoned for years it was recovered by the Sisters of Mercy and converted into a shelter for those in need. Security would be tight, and no weapons of any kind would be allowed above the first floor of the old 5-story building. The roof would be outfitted with a greenhouse and water filter system. It would be a home for those who needed it, a flock of sheep under the care and guidance of the Sisters of Mercy. But things change and the world moved on.

Now, 20 years after the initial outbreak, only Abigail Harkness remains of the Sisters of Mercy and there is a power struggle underway just under the surface as some residents think new leadership is needed. Can Abigail hold onto her position as leader of the flock? Can they hold off the seemingly endless tide of infected that seem to only ever grow in number? Will the flock survive yet another brutal winter?

Rosewood Colony is an adults-only RP set in the world of The Last of Us with a highly character-driven story and focus on interpersonal conflict over action.

This RP has a rating of

Abigail Harkness woke before the sun from a dream. She clutched a hand to her chest as the fading visions left her. With a breath, she pulled herself from her bed and made her way over to her dresser.

She dressed in darkness and silence, pulling her well-worn nightgown off…
